SASA 28th Annual Congress


Dates: Wednesday, 5th – Friday, 7th July 2023

Venue: University of Zululand Main Campus, KwaDlangezwa, South Africa

Theme: Sociologies from the Global South and Beyond: Teaching, Learning, Research and Social Engagement…

The 28th SASA Congress will take on a hybrid format with a combination of virtual and face-to-face presentations. 

Abstract submission process:

Abstract Deadline: 17 April 2023.

Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words.

Please indicate in your abstract the relevant Working Group under which you would prefer your abstract to be considered. A full list of the Working Groups is available at https://www.sociology.africa/annual-conference/sasa-working-groups
